The surprise of the 1,100 range
We fell in love with the CMX500 when it was launched, a fun, peppy, revvy bike to ride around on. A super low seat height meant it was great for shorter riders but it was also brilliant fun for anybody. We said pretty much immediately that it would be stupidly good fun with a bigger engine.
When the CMX1100 was announced it didn’t disappoint. The character of the 1,100 twin suits the bike perfectly, and it’s a great place to be. The Touring variant added an option we didn’t know we wanted, but it makes so much sense – especially with the DCT gearbox which really is one of the CMX1100s unique features versus everything else in it’s class.
